Jamal Wilson was born into the jewelry business. In 1989 his father, Brian Wilson, opened Quality Jewelers in Nassau, Bahamas, well known for their all hand made manufacturing, making their products one of a kind, all the time.

In 2018, Jamal started to focus more on his jewelry craft. He started designing custom pieces and began branding his business as QJ, a subsidiary of Quality Jewelers.
